Innisfree Drive, Ellerslie
Architect: Agents of Architecture
At 23 Innisfree, the shift from old to new is well underway, with the original house cleared to make room for three standalone townhouses.
Set near the mountain, early works came with their own challenges, particularly solid rock that needed to be broken through before construction could properly begin. Since then, progress has continued steadily, with careful coordination required on a tight site where access and multiple trades demand a well-managed approach.
Designed by Agents of Architecture and supported by Placemakers materials, including a rib raft floor system, the build is starting to show its finer details. One feature already taking shape is the inset UPVC joinery, adding a subtle but refined edge to the overall finish.
With weather and site logistics always in play, the team continues to navigate each stage while keeping the project moving forward.
